Save frequently I have a Windows 7 operating system and learned quickly that every time I added something to the layout, I’d better save because the program would crash, shut down and I would lose my efforts. Additionally, I bought this for landscaping – maybe it was me, but I found it very difficult to put curves (like in a curved path or a curved bed) on the layout. Additionally, I live in Michigan and the types of plants that are common here were not in the library. I looked at reviews of several programs online and this supposedly was the best for the money. Heaven forbid how the other ones work.

This program does not allow you to use a photo to place plants and other additions. You can upload a picture but it’s only a back ground which does not allow anything to be placed on it.

I used this to model my house and to design a backyard patio and pergola. For 3D concepts I think it works fine…I don’t know that it would be that good for actually getting drawings out.
